@operacaosapajus: Análise do engajamento nas redes sociais

Apresentamos uma análise qualitativa e quantitativa do engajamento do @operacaosapajus ao longo dos três primeiros anos desde a criação da página no Instagram. Analisamos 488 postagens classificadas em 12 categorias. Foi utilizada a ferramenta Insights para se obter índices do engajamento da página. Utilizamos modelos lineares para detectar diferenças significativas no engajamento entre os tipos de publicação, e análise de cluster para agrupar tipos de publicações pela similaridade nos valores medianos do engajamento geral. A página atingiu um teto de onze mil seguidores, com- posto majoritariamente por mulheres, entre 24 e 35 anos, brasileiras. Três agrupamentos foram obtidos com diferenças estatísticas entre eles. As publicações com abordagem crítica tiveram significativamente mais likes, mas não mais compartilhamentos, indicando uma forma de ativismo brando. Publicações sobre temas científicos e denúncias foram significativamente mais salvos, indicando que a função de divulgação científica está sendo alcançada. Posts da categoria Em cativeiro e em liberdade engajaram significativamente menos, indicando que essa estratégia talvez não seja a mais eficiente para a promoção de uma mudança estética do “amar como pet” para o “amar a vida silvestre em liberdade”.
